DJ Friction’s Sets stehen für tanzbare und clubbige Sounds. So gibt es eine brodelnde Mischung u.a. aus 70/80er-Discofunk, neuen und freshen Re-Edits & modernen elektronischen Beats auf die Ohren!

Der gebürtige Stuttgarter Martin Welzer aka DJ Friction entdeckte in den 80er Jahren seine Liebe zur Musik und der DJ-Culture was ihm dann Anfang der Neunziger den Titel des Württembergischen DMC-Meisters einbrachte. Bekannt wird „Frico“ vor allem durch seine DJ-Tätigkeit bei der Band Freundeskreis, eine der erfolgreichsten deutschen Hip Hop-Formationen. Zudem veröffentlichte er drei Solo-Alben und fertigte etliche Remixe für andere (inter-)nationale Künstler an. In letzter Zeit sorgen auch seine liebevollen Re-Edits und Remixe alter Soul- und Disco-Klassiker für Aufmerksamkeit in der Szene.

We want to thank you for an exciting, successful and joyful year 2011! Without you funky dancers, open-minded listeners & SOULful lovers we wouldn’t be that successful today! So it’s time to look back and see what happened last year:
